EuroThreads

What are they?

EuroThreads are inserted subcutaneously instantly lifting, smoothing, tightening and contouring areas suffering from volume loss while simultaneously stimulating the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin where treatment has occurred.

EuroThread lift is exactly what it sounds like. Thin, flexible, absorbable sutures applied strategically to lift, smooth and re-contour mid and lower face, neck, brows and even the body.

How do they work?

The EuroThread procedure uses a soluble material—-a polylacticoglycolic acid resin. It is essentially a string of sugar that looks like thick surgical suture material studded with small bi-directional cones. These sutures that are inserted into the skin instantly tighten and lift problem areas with volume loss like the cheeks, jowls, lips, eye area and neck. The string is woven through the tissue to create tension and hoist sagging skin. EuroThreads stimulate the body to create new springy collagen in the area where the sutures are placed.

How long does the treatment take?

The EuroThread lift procedure takes about an hour and recovery time is just one or two days.

How long do results last?

Results will vary, but can last anywhere from 18 months to a few years and additional threads can be used at a later time to maintain results. To achieve optimal results, combine EuroThreads with other procedures such as fillers, lasers and other nonsurgical facial treatments. The combined treatments will extend results several years and wear off gradually.
