How Does Moxi By Sciton Work?
MOXI is a non-ablative wavelength of 1927nm that targets water within the cells to promote natural healing in a gentle manner. What Should You Expect During & After Your Treatment?
Before your MOXI treatment, a topical numbing cream may be applied to your skin 30 to 45 minutes before.
You may notice redness the next day after MOXI, and you may see small micro dots, or "mends," where the laser was applied. In the process of healing, the microzones will darken and become rough. The mends will fall off between days 3 and 5, exposing the new skin beneath.
Using a gentle cleanser in the morning and at night will help keep your skin clean. Avoid being in the sun, apply your favorite physical barrier sunscreen, and keep your skin moisturized. Makeup can be worn 24 hours after treatment.
